My prediction is that we will see a lot metaverse hype but that the trend will once again be dead by 2026, if not for the next prediction that is.

In 2024, we might see a leap in human-machine interaction, driven by advancements in natural language processing, gesture recognition, and brain-machine interfaces. This prediction is coupled with the last one. If the metaverse bridges the gap between humans and machines this is the promised holly land for these two technologies. A common ground where we both can coexist and interact as equals.

My prediction is that all conversations will be 200% more centered around AI and perhaps even generated by on. I don’t think we’ll see an AGI just yet, but I would not be surprised either.
