But what about the old and battletested juggernaut of yesteryears? The 800-pound gorilla of pure economic power and the always present powerhouse that is the manufacturing industry.
Let’s delve into the realm of Industrial AI, examining its impact on various sectors and the trajectory it sets for the future.
At its core, Industrial AI involves the use of advanced machine learning algorithms and data analytics to optimize industrial processes, automate decision-making, and enhance overall productivity. Unlike consumer-focused AI applications, Industrial AI is tailored to meet the unique challenges and demands of manufacturing plants, supply chains, and critical infrastructure.
To me, AI enthusiast but a manufacturing sector novice, four different areas seem to crystalize.
Manufacturing Excellence: In the manufacturing sector, Industrial AI is a game-changer. Machine learning algorithms analyze data from sensors and production lines, predicting equipment failures before they occur and minimizing downtime.
